In the future (the far far future… haha), that one guy will have to deal with my tendency to curse when I’m in a very stressful/negative/anxious mood. I don’t curse much at all usually, but sometimes that part of me comes out when the conditions are right. So I guess no super duper religious/paranoid-about-obscene-language people, because we probably won’t be able to get along very well.
I was forced by one of my friends to try out Amnesia: The Dark Descent the other day, so I “sucked it up and played it like a real man” (quote from my friend, complimenting me for being courageous, apparently). It scared the shit out of me though, I’m not going to lie… If I played it without all the creepy background music and sound effects, I’m sure I would’ve been a-ok. I had the sound on almost full blast though, AND I was wearing headphones. At every little creak or noise I’d jump like 10 feet in the air. Yeah, it was pretty bad.
Today was a really eye opening and shocking day for me and everyone at my school. One of the people I knew passed away this morning. He attempted suicide, and unfortunately succeeded. It’s so saddening to think how events can take place so suddenly; one day I would see him smiling and being so friendly to the people around him, the next day he’s gone. Even though I wasn’t very close to him, I knew that he was a really nice guy, and I’m truly sad that he’s not here anymore.
Rest in peace, Nathan.
I played my Nintendo 64 today. It was great (and brought back so many memories).
